Every artwork in this gallery is printed to order in three materials: premium matte paper, canvas gallery wrap, and acrylic plexiglass. Collectors ask almost daily which to choose. There is no single answer — each material suits different artworks, rooms, and budgets — but the differences are simple once someone explains them honestly.
Premium matte paper — the classic
Museum-grade matte paper is how fine art photography has been collected for a century. Colors are accurate and subtle, blacks are deep without glare, and the surface has a quiet, archival feel. Paper needs framing under glass, which adds cost but gives you full control over the final look. Choose paper for detailed photography, black-and-white work, and any piece you want to frame to match your home.
Canvas gallery wrap — warm and ready to hang
Canvas softens an image slightly and gives it body — closer to how a painting feels than a photograph. It arrives stretched and ready to hang, no framing needed, and its matte surface works in any light, including sunny rooms where glass would glare. Canvas is the most popular choice in this gallery, and the safest: it flatters landscapes, paintings, and warm-toned Jerusalem scenes alike.
Acrylic plexiglass — depth and drama
Printing behind acrylic gives colors a saturation and depth no other material matches — skies glow, water shines, golden stone looks lit from within. It is the contemporary gallery look, and it is at its strongest with panoramic formats: seascapes, desert skies, and the great Kotel panoramas. Acrylic is the premium option and arrives ready to mount, with a floating effect off the wall.
